News Update - This Weekend's DX! - Friday May 1, 2015 01:00 UTC

This weekend there will be some great DX catches on the air including JD1BLY Ogasawara, A52LSS - A52IVU - A52AEF - A52ARJ all in Bhutan, J49TSL Crete, 6Y5/W8ERI Jamaica, S79RPS Seychelles plus JD1YBT who will be manning another op from Ogasawara.

From last week's (April 24th)  "This Weekend's DX" column - it looks like EK/DL7UCX and EK/DK7AO Armenia, 9H3OO Malta plus ZF2CI Cayman Island are QRV for another day or two or three.

If you still need Norfolk Island for an ATNO or a band fill -  the VK9NT DXpedition is scheduled to remain active until May 4, 2015.

A group of Japanese hams (JH3LSS/A52LSS, JH3AEF/A52AEF, JA3ARJ/A52ARJ, JA3IVU/A52IVU) will be operating from Bhutan on 80-6 meters; SSB, CW plus digital. Here's some useful links:

A group of hams from Greece - SV1GE, SV2BRT, SV2FPU,   SV2FWV,  SV1QXU (YL),  SV2RJV and SV2RMK  will be active on 80-6m; CW, SSB and RTTY. Their website has a lot of info including propagation charts for all of the bands

Peter, DL2RPS, will be operating from Praslin Island (DXCC Seychelles) IOTA AF-024. He will try for QSO's on 80-10 meters with CW as the primary mode but - he may try some SSB depending on band conditions.
