V6Z DXpediton - NOW QRT

V6Z UPDATE - April 9, 2015 14:00 UTC - Today was their sceduled end date and while there is no "official" confirmation on their website or QRZ page - there have been no cluster spots or reverse beacon captures for nearly 24 hours so ... it would appear that they are indeed QRT. Last ClubLog update has a QSO total of over 22K with the last logged QSO at 19:44 UTC April 8, 2015.

UPDATE - April 4, 2015 - Still going strong - very active DXpedition - will update ClubLog again as soon as they are able to.

UPDATE - March 31, 2015 - They are back up and on the air ... they also have some access to the Internet now and have upload their first batch of QSO's to ClubLog.

UPDATE - March 29, 2015 - Now making antenna repairs - long periods of time off the air - looks like they are having to deal with the after effects of tropical storm / cyclone Maysak:

Hope all are OK ... looks like cyclone Maysak is on track to possibly impact the Philippines later this week ...

UPDATE March 28, 2015 2051 UTC - had light copy in Florida on 30M CW with some signal bursts well above the noise ... they QSY'd to 20M with better copy here ... at 2126 their signal seems to be getting stronger and they were working EU, JA and NA all at the same time!

UPDATE - March 27 2200 UTC - Spots and reverse beacon loggings starting to come in now ... but then suddenly stopped? Maybe they just threw a few calls out there (the RBN's were mostly in V6Z's backyard) and then got busy setting up antenna's, stations. etc., etc.??? Will update as soon as we have more info...
UPDATE – March 24, 2015 - (from DX-World.net) - "We depart tomorrow – hoping for good propagation to all parts of the world, despite the recent disturbed solar conditions. We will possibly install the 160m antenna as one of our first antennas, to take advantage of any openings with mutual darkness."

This DXpedition is being undertaken by two serious contest and DX operators : Keith - GM4YXI/GM5X and Chris - GM3WOJ/GM2V. Looks to be a well planned operation!
